Thee ABCs of Speech, LLC provides mobile speech/language therapy services in the client's natural environment. Services are provided in Duncanville, DeSoto, Cedar Hill, South Dallas and Midlothian. Teletherapy is available to those clients residing outside of the service area. We provide services from 18 months to 18 years of age. Our specialties include articulation, developmental delay, language impairments, pragmatic impairments, and autism.
What we do? How can we help your child?
Screening
A screening is an informal brief (20 to 30 minutes) assessment to analyze your child's speech and language skills to determine a need for a full evaluation and/or speech therapy. A screening outcome will indicate one of three results: (1) recommendation of full evaluation, (2) monitoring of your child's development, (3) functioning within normal limits.
Evaluation
A comprehensive speech/language evaluation (45 to 90 minutes) assesses specific areas based on screening results or expressed concerns. Testing will compare your child's skills to others of the same age. The evaluation consists of articulation, phonology, expressive, and receptive language skills.
Treatment
Speech Therapy (treatment) sessions are guided by long- and short-term goals based upon the assessment results. Our services are provided in the client's natural environment (home therapy, daycare or private school). Therapy is usually scheduled for one visit a week for a 3 to 6 month period per insurance authorizations.
